Day Seven of NaNoWriMo

There’s something deeply satisfying beating the 15,000 word mark. Don’t ask me why, but there it is. There is something even more satisfying in realising you’ve beaten the 15,000 word mark and then some without even noticing. Somewhat tempered by a midnight finish on a weeknight, but you win some and you lose some. The itch to go back and edit hasn’t lessened, but I am obeying the rule (for once) and ignoring it. I figure the faster I write, the faster I get around to editing. According to NaNoWriMo, if I continue at the writing pace I am, I will be finished nearly two weeks ahead of schedule. Go me.
