I’m 25 and live in Hampshire, England, and work in publishing. I have been telling stories and writing them since I know how, and have always had the urge to share with the wider world, and to share my love of words. Life for me involves an awful lot of reading, writing and working – and lately a lot of running.
On this blog, I will be immersing myself in the various worlds and wonders that literature involves. I will be reviewing books, rambling about my writing, posting bits of my “creative art” up for analysis and also blogging a little about real life.
I also blog on fashion and beauty at The Fashion Lover, so feel free to check that out too!
On 7th October 2012, I ran the local half-marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association. Every year around 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke (which amounts to one person every five minutes); it doesn’t matter your age, gender, ethnicity or even financial position, anyone can be affected by a stroke, and it is a devastating illness. My family has been personally affected by a stroke, and without the support of the Stroke Association, our lives would be very different. I can’t praise them enough, and this is why I am raising money. With the generosity and support of friends, family and strangers, I raised £709 for the Stroke Association. My next challenge is to run two more half-marathons, and then to aim for a full marathon.
